'It's fun but it's not magic' : 15 Misconceptions Serial Daters Had About Intimacy and Lovemaking

We don't know about you guys, but the older we get the more we realize that relationships and s*x in real life are nothing like they made it out in the fairytales. We grew up with the idea that we would find 'the one' and live happily ever after. But let's be real. Relationships are not just about romance and lovey-dovey text messages. In reality, they require hard work, dedication, and oftentimes very important decision-making. 

And don't even get us started on lovemaking. Let's face it, growing up we've all had some pretty unrealistic expectations of what our first time would be like all thanks to movies and stereotypes. But when the deed rolled around, it was far less romantic than we thought it would be. Instead, it was awkward, weird, and hella messy. And this got us thinking… why not write about it? And coincidentally, someone on Reddit decided to start the conversation.
